Airport Road ramp at I-474 to close May 5

PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that the ramp from Airport Road to westbound Interstate 474 will close May 5.

The closure is necessary for bridge painting and is expected to last a week. A detour will be posted.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
