    "body": "<p><strong>PEORIA</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced overnight eastbound lane closures on the Cedar Street Bridge (Illinois 8/116) over the Illinois River on May 12 and 13.</p><p>The lane closures are to accommodate painting work on structural steel repairs on the underside of the bridge, that will last from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. both nights. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. </p><p>Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered.
