    "body": "<p><strong>CHICAGO</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that routine maintenance of the graphic medallions mounted on the retaining walls along the Dan Ryan Expressway (Interstate 90/94) between 51<sup>st </sup>and 59<sup>th</sup> streets, in Chicago, will begin, weather permitting, Monday, Oct. 12. </p><p>To complete the work, the public should expect intermittent daytime and overnight shoulder and lane closures in both directions of the Ryan local lanes between 51<sup>st</sup> and 59<sup>th</sup> streets. \u200b </p><p>The six large decorative graphic medallions were designed by professional artists and Chicago Public Schools students. They were installed in 2007. </p><p>The work is anticipated to be completed in late November. \u200b </p><p>The public can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Alternate routes are encouraged.
