Eastbound U.S. 24 lane with shoulder closures and U.S. 150 ramp closure start Nov. 2

PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced intermittent daytime lane and right side shoulder closures on eastbound U.S. 24. Additionally, the ramp below the bridge to westbound U.S. 150 will close. Both closure locations in Peoria start Monday, Nov. 2.

The closures are necessary to repair a damaged bridge beam on eastbound U.S. 24 over the ramp from northbound Illinois 116 to westbound U.S. 150, about a mile east of the McClugage Bridge. The closures and project are expected to be completed in three weeks.
