Illinois 29 and Cedar Hills Drive intersection lane closures start May 29
MOSSVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that daytime lane closures at the intersection of Illinois 29 and Cedar Hills Drive north of Mossville will begin May 29.
The lane reductions are necessary for traffic signal work. Closures will begin with the left lanes of northbound and southbound Illinois 29. Motorists should expect this to change as work progresses.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
