    "body": "<p><strong>CHICAGO</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that repairs to the bridge carrying Jackson Street over the Des Plaines River, in Joliet, will require a full bridge closure over five consecutive nights beginning, weather permitting, Monday, Oct. 12. \u200b </p><p>Starting the evening of Monday, Oct. 12, the public should expect overnight full closures approaching the bridge from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night. The repairs are expected to be completed by 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. \u200b </p><p>The closures are necessary to repair corrosion on portions of the structural steel discovered during a recent evaluation. \u200b </p><p>The public can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Alternate routes are encouraged.
