John Deere Road repair in Moline underway

MOLINE – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that work is underway on eastbound John Deere Road (Illinois 5) in Moline. The work zone is between 38th and 41st streets.

The project will patch the road. Two lanes will remain open and the right lane in this area will be closed during the work, which is anticipated to be complete by the end of Thursday.

Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zone areas, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.

Westbound 95th Street lane closure
CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that as part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the bridges carrying Harlem Avenue (Illinois 43) over 95th Street (U.S. 12 and 20), in Bridgeview, Chicago Ridge and Oak Lawn, a lane closure is scheduled to take place on westbound 95th Street beginning, weather permitting, Tuesday, May 26. The closure is necessary to safely install large sewer/drainage pipes.
