Lane closures on Illinois 127 in Bond County

GREENVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that lane closures are ongoing on Illinois 127 between Illinois 140 and Union Street in Greenville for pavement maintenance.

The lane restrictions will be controlled by flaggers. The project is expected to be completed this fall.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
