Lane closures on Illinois 150 at Illinois 4 begin May 6

STEELEVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that lane closures will be in place near the intersection of Illinois 150 and Illinois 4, west of Steeleville in Randolph County beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for pavement patching. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers.

The work is expected to last three days.

Motorists should expect long delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, be alert for changing conditions, obey all construction signage, and refrain from using mobile devices while approaching and traveling through the work zone.
