    "body": "<p><strong>NEW BADEN</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that one lane in each direction of Interstate 64 will be closed between Illinois 4 and the Clinton County line near New Baden beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, for roadway maintenance.</p><p>The nightly lane closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and are expected to continue through late fall 2026, weather permitting. \u200b </p><p>Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this closure.
