    "body": "<p><strong>PEORIA &ndash;</strong> The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that on Thursday, April 9, the ramp from westbound Interstate 474 to eastbound I-74 will close to traffic for the day. Westbound I-474 also will be reduced to one lane through the work zone. \u200b </p><p>A detour utilizing Illinois 6 and U.S. 150 is posted. See detour map below.</p><p>The closure is needed for unanticipated patching work and is expected to last only one day. </p><p>Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered.
