    "body": "<p><strong>CHICAGO</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that repairs to the BNSF railroad bridge over Interstate 55 (Stevenson Expressway) will require lane closures on outbound I-55 for approximately one week beginning, weather permitting, Wednesday, May 6. </p><p>Starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday, the two left lanes and left shoulder will be closed on outbound I-55 from Kedzie Avenue to Pulaski Road. Two outbound lanes will remain open and inbound I-55 will not be impacted. The repairs are expected to be completed by 5 a.m. Thursday, May 14. </p><p>The public can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Alternate routes are encouraged.
