Public meeting April 17 on improvements to Morgan Street/Park Avenue
CHICAGO –The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that a public meeting will be held Thursday, April 17, on a preliminary engineering and environmental study to improve Morgan Street/Park Avenue between 149th and 167th streets in Harvey, Thornton Township, Hazel Crest and Markham.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of the study process, introduce the proposed improvement alternatives and obtain public input. The study will evaluate the corridor including the intersections and develop alternative improvements to address existing deficiencies and drainage concerns.
The public meeting will be in an open-house format. All interested parties are encouraged to attend:

Exhibits will be on display and an audio-visual presentation will be shown continuously during the meeting. Project team members will be present to answer questions.
