    "body": "<p><strong>DEKALB COUNTY</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that the Union Pacific Railroad crossing at U.S. 30 east of Shabbona will be closed on Sunday, Oct. 18. The closure will be for seven days to allow for repairs of the at-grade crossing. </p><p>A posted detour will direct motorists to Interstate 39, Illinois 38 and Illinois 23. </p><p>Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area and be prepared for slow and stopped traffic. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered.
