U.S. 6/34 closing at railroad crossing in Sheffield May 4

SHEFFIELD – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that U.S. 6 and 34 will be closed for repairs at the Iowa Interstate railroad crossing in Sheffield on Monday, May 4. The repairs are expected to take seven days to complete.

Traffic will follow a posted detour.

Westbound I-64 lane closures in St. Clair County for traffic control reconfiguration

CASEYVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced lane closures on westbound Interstate 64 between Illinois 159 and Illinois 157 for a traffic control reconfiguration beginning at 12 a.m. Sunday, April 26, reducing traffic to one lane. CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that as part of ongoing efforts to rebuild the bridge carrying Foster Avenue over the Kennedy Expressway (Interstate 90), in Chicago, a ramp closure along with overnight lane closures are scheduled to begin, weather permitting, Monday, May 4.
