U.S. 6/34 closing at railroad crossing in Sheffield May 4

SHEFFIELD – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that U.S. 6 and 34 will be closed for repairs at the Iowa Interstate railroad crossing in Sheffield on Monday, May 4. The repairs are expected to take seven days to complete.

Traffic will follow a posted detour.
