    "body": "<p><strong>CARBONDALE</strong> &ndash; The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that a culvert replacement in Union County will require a weekend closure of Old U.S. 51 in both directions at the north limits of Cobden beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, weather permitting.</p><p>A posted detour utilizing U.S. 51, Illinois 146 and Illinois 127 will be in place to safely guide motorists around the closure.</p><p>The work is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21.
