Closures on Madison Street in Woodstock

CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that storm sewer and pavement repairs will require daily full closures on Madison Street (Illinois120), between Church and Hutchins streets, in Woodstock, beginning, weather permitting, Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The closures are scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day through Friday, Nov. 8. During that time, a detour will direct motorists to Hutchins, Clay and Church streets and Seminary Avenue. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.

The public should expect delays and allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
