Illinois 47 closing at railroad crossing in Dwight April 19

DWIGHT – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that Illinois 47 will be closed for repairs at the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing in Dwight on April 19. The repairs are expected to take five days to complete.

A posted detour will direct traffic to use Illinois 17 and Old Route 66.
