Public comment sought on Bishop Ford at 111th Street interchange improvements in Chicago
CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that a public meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, on a preliminary engineering and environmental study to improve the Bishop Ford Freeway (Interstate 94) at 111th Street interchange in Chicago.
The meeting will present the purpose and need of the study and potential improvement alternatives and obtain public input. The study will evaluate the corridor including the intersection and develop alternative improvements to address existing deficiencies and drainage concerns.
The public meeting will be in an open-house format. All interested parties are encouraged to attend:

Exhibits will be on display and an audio-visual presentation will be shown continuously during the meeting. Project team members will be present to discuss the project and answer questions.
