Public hearing set April 7
for proposed improvements of U.S. 45 intersections in Champaign County
THOMASBORO – The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing April 7 regarding proposed improvements to U.S. 45 intersections at Flatville Road in Thomasboro and Leverett Road in Champaign County.
The public is invited to the meeting, which will be held at:
Thomasboro Fire Department
101 N. Church Street
4-6 p.m., Monday, April 7
The hearing will be conducted on an informal basis with project displays and other information available for viewing. IDOT representatives will be available to explain the project, answer individual questions and record comments offered. Attendance and comments from potentially affected property owners are especially encouraged. A project representative will be available at the hearing to take oral testimony. The public may also submit written comments. All comments received by April 28 will be included in the official hearing record.
Preliminary reports, including an engineering analysis with drawings, maps and aerial photography, will be available for viewing during the meeting and will be available at the district office address below. For more information or to submit written comments, contact:
