Public meeting about proposed
​Danville roundabout set Oct. 22

DANVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Oct. 22 regarding proposed improvements to Perrysville Road, Bowman Avenue and Texas Avenue in Danville.

The proposal would remove the Perrysville Road bridge over Interstate 74 and replace the Bowman Avenue bridge over Texas Avenue with a roundabout. The public is invited to the meeting, which will be held at:

4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22

​535 S. Bowman Ave., Danville

The meeting will be conducted on an informal basis with project displays and other information available for viewing. IDOT representatives will be available to explain the project, answer individual questions and record comments offered by those in attendance. Attendance and comments from potentially affected property owners are especially encouraged.

Preliminary reports, including an engineering analysis with drawings, maps and aerial photography, will be available for viewing during the meeting and will be available at the district office address below.
