UPDATE: This project is postponed until June 23

Illinois 49 closing at TP&W Railroad crossing in Crescent City on June 2

 

OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that Illinois 49 at the TP&W Railroad crossing in Crescent City in ​ Iroquois County will be closed for repairs beginning Monday, June 2. The crossing is located north of U.S. 24.

The work is anticipated to be completed on June 8. A posted detour will direct traffic to use U.S. 24 and U.S. 45.
