Illinois 49 closing at TP&W Railroad crossing in Crescent City on June 2

OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that Illinois 49 at the TP&W Railroad crossing in Crescent City in Iroquois County will be closed for repairs beginning Monday, June 2. The crossing is located north of U.S. 24.

The work is anticipated to be completed on June 8. A posted detour will direct traffic to use U.S. 24 and U.S. 45.
