U.S. 67 pavement work begins June 23

ROSEVILLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that construction on U.S. 67 (Roseville Bypass) between 50th Street and just north of 90th Avenue in Warren County begins June 23.

The work involves pavement patching and resurfacing and will reduce U.S. 67 to one lane in both directions into October. Intermittent lane closures on Illinois 116 also will be necessary, with traffic controlled by flaggers.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. To avoid the work area, when feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
