Visit IDOT at the Du Quoin State Fair

Fairgoers can learn about employment opportunities and projects in Southern Illinois

CARBONDALE – The Illinois Department of Transportation is inviting the public to join them at Expo Hall during the Du Quoin State Fair, where fairgoers can learn about projects happening in their communities, find information about job openings and obtain assistance in applying for employment online.

Visitors will have a chance to learn more about seasonal and full-time job opportunities at IDOT, including the snowbird program to help with snow-and-ice removal this winter. For details about IDOT’s available positions, visit illinois.jobs2web.com.

The IDOT exhibit also will feature information on major projects happening throughout Southern Illinois, highlighting the ongoing commitment made possible by Gov. JB Pritzker’s historic, bipartisan Rebuild Illinois capital program.

For more information about the Du Quoin State Fair, which runs Friday, Aug. 22, through Monday, Sept. 1, visit dsf.illinois.gov.
