Wabena Road over I-80 in Minooka is closed

OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that the bridge carrying Wabena Road over Interstate 80 in Minooka is closed after being struck by a truck on July 14. The bridge is located just east of the Minooka interchange (exit 122).

The closure is necessary to fully inspect the bridge and assess the damage to the structure. A timetable to reopen the bridge has not been determined.
