Wabena Road over I-80 in Minooka is open

OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that the bridge carrying Wabena Road over Interstate 80 in Minooka has reopened after being struck by a truck on July 14. The bridge is located just east of the Minooka interchange (exit 122).

IDOT has conducted a structural assessment and concluded that the bridge possesses sufficient structural capacity to continue operating. Repairs will be done to this structure in the future.
