Keller Drive patching and resurfacing between Ford Avenue and Evergreen Avenue in Effingham

EFFINGHAM – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that pavement patching on Keller Drive (Illinois 32/33) from Ford Avenue to Evergreen Avenue in Effingham will be completed the week of May 11. Resurfacing will be completed later in the year. The work will be completed during the evening and early morning between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The work will reduce Keller Drive to one lane in each direction at times, with traffic control utilizing message signs, arrow boards, spotters and barricades. This project will provide a smoother road surface to the traveling public.

Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
